Pro Sports

Montgomery is the home of the Montgomery Biscuits baseball team. The sports team plays in the Class AA Southern League and are affiliated with the Tampa Bay Rays. Their home games are played at Montgomery Riverwalk Stadium.

The Alabama State University Hornets take the field in several sports. They play in the NCAA Division I competition in the Southwestern Athletic Conference. Hiking, Biking & Trails

Among Cheaha State Park's many features are the spectacular views from its high hills and mountains. Another high point is the yearly Annual Mountain Bike Championship Race. The race follows along a 10-mile course that is set up along the park's impressive bike trail. While Buck's Pocket State Park may be a bit of a drive away from Montgomery, the area's amazing scenery and activities make it all worth it.
